Meredith, as you know this is not our first marriage and we are both in our early 50s, but you made us feel like we were just as special as if it was the very first time we ever wedded.  We want to express to you our deepest heartfelt feelings on your extreme commitment and dedication on the job you did for our wedding on April 12, 2008.  First, our wedding cake was beyond words, not only was it what we discussed, it was even better!!!!!  It was more than we expected, it was awesome.  The cake was so moist and the lemon tart was a hit, our guests are still raving about it.  The photography and the pictures you captured are speechless, so much happens on your wedding day and it is so hard to remember it all, but you captured all of the very intimate special times along with all of the fun and memorable moments through the whole day, times that we will be able to relive over and over again the rest of our lives.  We would highly recommend you to all of our family and friends that are in need of someone with your outstanding skills in both of your exceptional skills. Meredith,   How do I begin to thank you for everything?  Eric's cakes were amazing!  I can't even begin to imagine the time, effort and imagination you put into making them.  All of the wait staff and the banquet manager were asking for your card, they were so impressed with your work! The guitar looked just like Eric's and the hot pink converse was the coolest thing I have ever seen!  I was amazed watching a group of teenagers standing around talking about birthday cakes, but it happened. Haha  Eric said they were even talking about them the next week in school!!  They were absolutely delicious and added so much fun to the party.  We have also been enjoying the DVD and all of the photos you did for us.  It is great fun watching the DVD because I get to see all the things I missed the night of the party.  You did such a good job catching the essence of Eric and his friends on film.  It is nice to have all the memories of his 16th birthday captured for a lifetime.  Thank you doesn't seem to be enough for all you did to make my son's birthday one he will never forget!  I will be talking with you soon about the cake you are making for me this week.  I can't wait to see what you come up with next!!     Doriane

Hey Meredith!   I have been wanting to contact you since the second I saw our wedding cake..Linda took me upstairs before the ceremony so I could see how the reception room turned out and the first words out of her mouth were "wait till you see your cake."  I had an idea what it was going to look like because of the picture we gave you..but i knew you would put your own special touch into it.  When I laid my eyes on that cake, I was blown away..I already knew it was going to taste amazing but the way it looked exceeded anything I ever imagined.  The daises you created to cascade down the cake were beautiful..the yellow icing was exactly perfect.. I couldn't thank you enough for putting your time and effort into making me the most perfect wedding cake that I will never forget.  All of our guests couldn't believe how it matched perfectly with everything else in the room and when they finally got the chance to taste it, they were speechless.  It was just as tasty as it was beautiful...I will defintily be keeping in touch the next time I need a cake.  We truly thank you for your hard work, Jill and Charlie :-)  6/20/08 Baywood Greens

Meredith, I wanted to let you know how delicious and beautiful the wedding cake was last Saturday at Heather's reception.  We had a dessert served as a part of the dinner at the Civic Center, so I knew we'd have loads of cake leftover, but boy was I wrong.  It was so good, we saw many people going back for seconds or more.  There was only about 5 or 6 pieces leftover.  We are having a 50th wedding anniversary party in May or June for my parents, so I'm hoping we can get the cake from you again.  It was the best wedding cake I've ever eaten. Meredith, thank you so much for the cake. People just raved about it. Presley did not get crazy with her cake at all, she tasted the icing a bit but that was really it. It was delicious as well as a great focal point of the party. I told everyone how wonderful you were and I mean it. Thanks again so much. Meredith, The cakes were AWESOME!!! Everyone talked about how beautiful they were and what a creative idea it was to cut out her name. The detail was so wonderful and the cake that looked like a rink was just perfect! On top of them looking good, they were delicious. I usually like yellow cake best, because most white cake is usually dry. But your white cake was moist and had that homemade taste. (The chocolate cake was just as good!) The icing was delicious, not too sweet but just right. I am so glad we will be working with you. You are one of Delaware's Best Kept Secrets.... Meredith,   I'm sorry it took so long to send you this, but after the wedding we drove back to Texas and then work started and I kept wanting to sit down and write.  I wanted to tell you how happy Todd and I were with your cake.  First off it was beautiful.  You made it look exactly like the picture I sent you and I was so very impressed at that. I can't tell you how happy I was.  Then... we tasted the cake and wow... never have I been to a wedding where I really liked the cake all the flavors were great (the raspberry was the best for me) and there was absolutely none left.  Everyone came back for more, especially after I told them that each tier was a different flavor and not one person who lived in Delaware who ate that cake left without asking who made it.  I gave them all your name and webpage and hope they will contact you.  I know if I am in need of a special cake again in Delaware, there is no question who I'll call.  I can't thank you enough.    Mrs. Kathy Lofthouse-Lange

Meredith, I know it's been awhile since you did the cupcake tree for my wedding.  It was on September 2, 2006…we just had our wedding celebration party at the park for our friends and family who were unable to attend the wedding.  They had all heard about the cake you did for the wedding and loved all the pictures of the cupcake tree.  In fact, I've had several people ask me if they could borrow the stand already.  You did such a great job and were so wonderful to come out to deliver the stand and cupcakes in the hurricane!!!  We were worried about you!  We have recommended you to several friends with upcoming events, although we aren't sure of their event locations yet.  We have also given your name to our florist for recommendations as he LOVED the cake too!  Our florist was South Pacific Florist in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  I will send pictures soon, but I have to wait to send them from home since I can't get to the pictures from work.  All the best to you and thanks again, Shannon (Hobeck) Quinby

Hi Meredith,  I know I am a few weeks late, but I just wanted to Thank You So Much for that amazing Blue Seashell cake, you made for my sister's shower.  I know I had kept her out of the kitchen, but I wish now that I had let her see it while you were still there.  She absolutely loved it.  And I hate to sound like your other reviews, but that cake was the highlight of the shower.  Everyone was just amazed, and I was asked numerous times who you were and what your website address was.  It was not only breathtaking but it was delicious.  And the chocolates were just absolutely stunning.  They were almost too pretty and lifelike to eat.  I just can't thank you enough.  I wish I had known about you last year for my October wedding!  That shower was so important to me, because my sister and I had sort of a falling out after living together five years ago.  Things have gotten better, but I wanted to give her a shower so she would know how much I loved her.  And as weird as it sounds, your cake helped her see that I put a lot of work into it and tried to make everything really perfect for her.  My sister is not a very open or emotional person, but she sent me a Thank You and it was the most touching card.  She said things that she has never said, and I just wanted you to know that you were a part in that.  I saw her fiance a week ago and he was telling me how she raved on and on about that cake.  She wished you could've made her wedding cake, but St. John is a little to far.  Anyway I know I have rambled on, but I just wanted you to know that your cakes are amazing, and you will definately be hearing again from me in the future.  I'll never get a cake from anywhere else.  And I will definately pass along your website to anyone needing a cake, or getting married.  Thanks Again, Tiffany

Saturday was very unique, yes we got rained out, no the photogropher didn't show up, the dj didn't do very much right, but the cake was to die for and I recieved sooo many compliments on it.  The wedding in Ireland was so perfect that I don't care what went wrong on Sat.  I,  and many who stayed threw the rain had a ball, I think I fell 3-4 times, my dress is demolished... Meredith, I can't thank you enough for that beautiful cake! It was perfect, and tasted amazing. Everyone I talked to loved it and felt the same.  Married life is great, Brian and I had an amazing time on our honeymoon in Mexico (the only bad part was leaving to come back). We stayed in Cancun at an all inclusive resort, then went to Cozumel for a day where we snorkeled and explored. It couldn't have been any better.  Now we're just enjoying married life, there is some adjustment, but we are doing just fine.  Thank you again for everything. And we'll definitely be in touch. Meredith,  Hi! I wanted to let you know that we ADORED the wedding cake!  Now, I did not actually get to eat much of it (or anything on my wedding day, as I expected nerves would take over!), but we loved both the Sandcastle and the rose swirls wedding cake.  I have a funny story to share regarding the cake. Randy's Groomsmen were giving him a hard time about having left the golf course early in order to sample your cakes....but both thoroughly enjoyed that day too! So, on the wedding day, while indulging in the rose cake, a Groomsman says, "I think I would have given up nine holes for this cake"! Love it!!  We had a blast and loved all of your cake baking! Meredith-Just wanted to say thanks again for the lovely cake – it was great!  Flowers looked great.  We consumed the whole thing except the top over the weekend!  The raspberry filling was excellent!!Again, thanks for all of your effort in the wake of Ernesto!  It cleared off enough we were able to get married on the boardwalk in front of Phillips.  They still had the sea wall gates up and were working on restoring the beach so we did not get down to the water but it turned out very nice anyway.     Claudia
